A Walkthrough of the Gear Sets Available in Diablo II: Resurrected

We hope you find this guide helpful as you navigate the Gear Sets available in Diablo II: Resurrected Patch 2.5 and Ladder Season 2. Items that belong to this category are designed to be used as part of a set and are almost always given the name of a legendary character from Diablo's canon. Some are geared specifically toward members of certain categories or occupations. You gain additional abilities along with each new piece that you add to the set, and if you are successful in acquiring the whole thing, your power will skyrocket.

In Diablo II: Resurrected, Set Items are referred to as Items.

• In D2:R, there are a total of 33 Sets, which are typically made up of a combination of armor and weapons

• There are some sets that do not include any weapons at all, and there is one set that consists of only two weapons

• The number of pieces in a set can vary anywhere from two to six, with four being the typical number

• Some of the pieces that make up a set might have a lower requirement for the character's level, allowing them to be worn earlier

• Sets, in general, do not contain as much power as separate collections of Rare, Unique, and Runeword items, but they are still something that you should think about purchasing

It's common sense that small sets without weapons are the most versatile, as they can be arranged in and around larger, more potent pieces. In general, the weapons included in Sets are not particularly impressive; however, there are a few noteworthy exceptions to this rule, most of which are found in Caster sets.

This guide has been modified to reflect the new information that was introduced in Patch 2.4 for a number of different sets. Please refer to the following guide for an exhaustive rundown of all 2.4 adjustments made to Set Items:

Bonuses for Partial Sets

Sets also come with additional bonuses known as Partial Set Bonuses. This means that if you are wearing two or more pieces of the set, you will receive additional benefits. These Set Bonuses may have varying effects depending on the pieces that are combined to create the set. You must actually be wearing the set items in order to qualify for the partial or full set bonuses. If you have a set of items stored in your inventory or stash, the bonuses associated with that set will not apply.

There are two distinct varieties of partial bonuses, and they are as follows:

Partial bonuses for the General Set are awarded for having any two or more unique items in the set.

Specific Item Partial Bonuses: These bonuses are earned by having that particular item count as one of the two or more items.

When you equip any two or more different pieces from a set, you gain a portion of the bonus that is associated with that set. If that combination uses an item from that set that qualifies for the Specific Item partial bonus, then you get that bonus. For instance, the general Partial Set bonus for two items in the Arctic Furs set is +5 Strength. This bonus applies to both of the items in the set. If, on the other hand, either of those two items is the Arctic Binding Light Belt, then the Specific Partial Set bonus also adds a 40% better chance of getting magic items.

At the very end of each set, you'll find a rundown of the general partial set and full set bonuses. Specific Item Partial Bonuses are added to the individual set items that are involved and displayed in green text. Once you have the entire set, you will keep all of the bonuses from the partial sets in addition to the new bonuses for the full set. This has the potential to produce an extremely impressive list of properties!

You are not allowed to wear duplicates of the same item in order to qualify for the partial or full set bonuses that apply to the entire set when it comes to sets that contain items that are very similar to one another, such as the two-sword set Bul'Kathos Children or a set with a ring, such as Angelic Raiment. All items must be different.

You can, however, wear two copies of the set ring, and doing so will grant you the Specific Item Set Bonuses. This only applies if the set includes a ring. For instance, the item Cathan's Seal, which comes as part of the set Cathan's Traps, has a leech effect of 6% life. The Specific Item Bonus for these two items is +10 Strength, and the Partial Item Bonus for the set as a whole is +15-20% increased fire damage. If you are wearing two Cathan's Seals, you will have 12% Life Leech from the core properties, in addition to +20 Strength from the 2-item Specific Item Bonus that is being applied by each item. If you are wearing two Cathan's Seals, you will have 12% Life Leech from the core properties. You will not, however, be eligible for the setwide Partial Bonus because that perk is only applicable to having multiple items.(If you then added the Cathan's Sigil amulet, that would credit you with having two different items from the set, and you would then receive the general 2-piece Partial Set Bonus.) Certain sets, like the Cow King's Leathers or Sander's Folly, do not include Specific Item Partial Set Bonuses like other sets do.

The Finest Complete Collections Available in Diablo 2: Resurrected

There are some sets that are very powerful when used as full or nearly full sets, despite the fact that many sets contain individual pieces that are favored by players and may even be the Best in Slot (BiS) for certain classes and builds. The majority of the sets in D2:R with the expansion activated will never be able to compete with Runewords, but the following are some sets that are particularly strong:

Angelic Rainment, Death's Disguise, and Sigon's Complete Steel are considered to be low-level (leveling) sets.

Immortal Kings and Orphan's Call are both excellent midlevel physical damage sets.

GoodCaster sets for midlevel players include Naj's Ancient Visage and Tal'Rasha's Wrappings.

Isenhart's Armory (Act III) and Szabi's Grand Tribute (Act III or V) are both set objectives that can be accomplished with the assistance of a mercenary.

All Diablo II Sets

The following characteristics are included in every Set:

Minimum Requirement for Full Set Level In order to use the full set, you need to have at least this much experience. This will correspond to the most advanced level of the most advanced piece.

This section provides a rundown of the lowest and highest possible levels attainable with each individual piece included in the set. There are some sets with required level ranges that are greater than 40 points in difference.

Target Audience:Even though some of the individual pieces may be suitable for use by any class, it is abundantly clear that the set was designed with one of the following in mind:

Amazon, Assassin, Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin, and Sorceress are the classes that are available.

Traits that favor dealing physical damage, such as attack rating, direct damage, increased attack speed, etc., are referred to as Melee traits. Melee damage is dealt in close quarters. In most cases, a weapon and/or shield designed for close quarters combat will be included in the set. The Javazons, Assassins, Barbarians, Shapeshift Druids, and Paladins are all included in this category.

Traits that favor Physical damage but do not rely on shields or weapons other than Bows are said to have a Ranged specialization. Although this primarily refers to Amazons, it is not class-specific in any way.

Caster: Properties that favor casting damage, such as Faster Cast Rate, mana regen, Mana per Kill, etc. Caster: Properties that favor casting damage, such as Mana per Kill, etc. Primarily for use by Necromancers, Elemental Druids, and Sorceress characters.

Sets that contain items or set bonuses that provide Magic Find are referred to as Magic Find Sets.

SetNotes that provide an overview of the positive aspects that a set has to offer are referred to as its strengths.

Set Weaknesses are the limitations, problems, and deficiencies that are associated with a specific set.

You are able to search for any item in any set using any combination of keywords (including terms specific to your target audience, such as Melee, Caster, Necromancer, Faster Cast Rate, Dexterity, etc.).
